Blossoms + Brass
This project marked the beginning of a new chapter for a growing family, a newly purchased home waiting to be reshaped into something that finally felt like theirs. The original house was heavy in all the wrong ways, with gray cabinetry, dark counters, a kitchen that worked against itself, and a laundry room that never quite belonged. What the clients wanted was simple at heart: a home where their children could grow up, where guests felt welcomed, and where the holidays had room to breathe. We pulled the kitchen island to open the space, drew custom cabinetry through the kitchen, living room, and laundry in a softer French-inspired hand, and rewrote the palette in paint, lighting, and finishes that brought warmth back to every corner. Custom door hardware, chosen by the clients themselves, became the home’s quiet signature. We stayed with the family from closing day through move-in, and the moment that lingers isn’t a finished room. It’s the children racing upstairs to see their bedrooms, already at home.
