Canopy + Coast Jack n Jill
The clients came to us with a shared bathroom that wasn’t serving either of their children well. Their daughter and older son were at very different stages of life, and the room they had to split every morning was builder-grade, short on personality, and already showing signs of moisture damage from poor ventilation. What the family wanted was a space that could hold both kids equally, one that wouldn’t feel too young for their son or too grown-up for their daughter, and one that could carry them all the way through the teenage years without needing to be redone.
We took a contemporary approach, quiet color, layered texture, and materials built to hold up to real family life. The existing tub was underused and taking up valuable footprint, so we converted it into a spacious walk-in shower with dual niches and a circular window that quickly became the room’s quiet focal point. Playful but sophisticated tile, updated lighting, improved ventilation, and fresh finishes throughout gave the bathroom a fresh start on every level. What was once the most overlooked room in the house is now a space both siblings can grow into, practical enough for now, elevated enough for later, and unmistakably theirs.
Shop the look from this shared kids’ bathroom remodel, designed in a Contemporary style. From the layered tile to the warm lighting, walk-in shower details, and curated finishes, we’ve linked the pieces that bring this bright, family-friendly space to life, all available on our LTK page.
