This downstairs hall bathroom was one of the hardest-working rooms in the home, serving family, overnight guests, and future visits, but it felt closed in and short on storage. A tub-and-shower combination behind a curtain hid the arched ceiling and window, the vanity offered little drawer space, and the counter felt cramped. This bathroom remodel focused on how the room functioned every day. A frameless glass walk-in shower replaced the tub, letting natural light travel through the room and putting the arched ceiling back on display. A wider custom vanity added generous drawer storage, while brighter stone surfaces, champagne bronze fixtures, and layered tile created a fresh, spa-inspired feel. The bathroom feels more open without gaining an inch of footprint, and works just as well for everyday family life as it does for guests.
