Midnight Modern Hall Bath

When a flood unexpectedly damaged both bathrooms in this young family’s home, they knew it was time not just to repair, but to reimagine. Our team stepped in to design two spaces that would be both hardworking for daily life and reflective of the couple’s bold, mid-century inspired style.

The hall bathroom, shared by two young children and visiting guests, needed to balance durability, function, and personality. We leaned into playful touches with a striking navy picket tile band around the tub surround, complete with two extra-long niches—perfect for bath toys, shampoo bottles, and everything in between. The navy vanity anchors the space, while black hardware and a Sputnik-inspired light fixture (intentionally angled for fun) bring just the right amount of whimsy. The end result? A cheerful bathroom that can handle kids’ daily routines but still feels elevated enough for overnight guests.
