Hi, my name is Loretta Medina-Torres, and I am the Chief Operating Officer for Mae Reedy Design. While I didn’t initially set out to work in the construction industry, I quickly discovered my passion for organization, problem-solving, and keeping multiple moving parts on track. Managing calendars, meeting deadlines, and finding efficient solutions have become second nature to me—especially in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is key. You’ll often see me juggling tasks seamlessly, whether it’s coordinating projects, texting on one phone, or handling Spanish calls on another!

As COO, I not only oversee the day-to-day operations but also lead our team in project management. From price bidding and material tracking to providing clients with regular updates, I’m dedicated to ensuring that every project is executed smoothly and to the highest standards.

My passion for art and design began as I started decorating our home and creating logos for my kids’ school spirit wear, blending creativity with community. This sparked a deeper interest that led me to pursue a graphic and web design degree, where I learned to bring my ideas to life through professional designs.

Today, I focus on creating visually engaging and user-friendly websites, especially within the construction industry. I love developing content strategies that build impactful marketing campaigns and social media presences, helping brands connect with their audience in meaningful ways. Staying on top of trends and turning every project into an opportunity to grow fuels my passion for creating designs that inspire and engage.

After graduating college, I found myself at a crossroads: pursue a path of service or dive into a creative field. I chose service, spending the first 10 years of my career in the nonprofit world. But creativity was always in the background, whether I was illustrating a children’s book, exploring digital art, or painting on canvas whenever I could.

Eventually, I felt a pull to make creativity the center of my work. When the opportunity to join Mae’s team came along, it felt like the perfect new chapter, one where I could combine a heart for helping others with a passion for design. Now, I’m excited to be part of creating spaces that inspire peace, beauty, and connection.

I’ve been obsessed with design since I was a kid—blame it on growing up around my dad’s company, where creativity was always in the air! Now, I’m lucky enough to turn that passion into my career.

I graduated from Wade College here in Dallas, Texas, with my Bachelor’s in Interior Design, and it didn’t take long for me to discover my love for project management. I was given the chance to step into the role, and wow, I instantly fell head over heels for it. The combination of design and managing projects just clicks for me. It’s like bringing a vision to life, from the very first sketch to the final details that make a space truly shine.

Hi, my name is Stella and I have always had a passion for design and exploring how it can promote both beauty and functionality. With nearly two decades of experience in the retail industry, I bring a strong background in product selection, trend awareness, and client-focused decision making to every project. My career as a buyer sharpened my ability to balance aesthetics, functionality, and budget—skills that translate seamlessly into interior design.

My passion for design was sparked during my first residential renovation, where I discovered the fulfillment that comes from transforming an outdated house into a well-loved home. That experience launched a decade-long career helping clients reimagine their spaces in ways that feel both beautiful and livable.

From a young age I was always attracted to transforming spaces that were a direct reflection of my personality and style. I knew back then that reimagining my space was important and now as an adult being able to help create a space with unlimited imagination for others has become a joy of mine.

Hi, I’m Jocelyn Loertscher, an intern at Mae Reedy Design + Build. I’m passionate about sharing the incredible transformations we create, offering practical tips for your next remodel, and giving a behind-the-scenes look at our week-to-week projects. My goal is to build a strong presence that drives engagement and inspires homeowners and designers. Through compelling content, I aim to showcase the craftsmanship and creativity that go into each project, helping people envision the possibilities for their own spaces.

From the moment I picked up a paintbrush, I knew art would always be a central part of my life. I studied it in school because I loved how many ways there are to be creative. I spent years as an art teacher and illustrator, but I found myself wanting a new challenge, something that would push me in a different way.
As a junior designer at Mae Reedy Design + Build, I’ve found that challenge in the most meaningful place of all, the home. There is no greater canvas than the spaces where people live, love, and grow. I’m passionate about helping craft homes that are not only beautiful, but deeply personal works of art that hold memories like frames hold photographs. My goal is to create spaces where families can hang their stories on the walls, and where every detail reflects something true about the people who live there.
