Riviera Restoration Primary Bathroom
After a fire sprinkler flood damaged the home, the primary bathroom became an opportunity to thoughtfully reimagine the space. While the existing layout remained, every finish was replaced to elevate the room and bring balance to the soaring 12-foot ceilings. Heavy Tuscan finishes were replaced with soft tones, polished porcelain walls, and layered lighting that create a light, airy atmosphere worthy of its prestigious setting.
One of the biggest design challenges was making the oversized shower feel intentional rather than overwhelming. A custom arched entry and a continuous 24-inch zellige tile band helped ground the space and visually connect each element. A bespoke vanity with a marble top, framed drawers, and furniture-style feet adds tailored elegance, while a handmade bubble chandelier above the sculptural tub provides a striking finishing touch. The result is a quietly luxurious retreat that feels both refined and inviting.
