Social Hour Project
The clients came to us with a room that wasn’t earning its keep. A formal dining space, generous in size, sat unused at the front of their home while the rooms they actually lived in did all the work. They loved to entertain, and they wanted something this house didn’t yet offer: a place to pour a drink, gather a few friends, and feel like the evening had a setting worthy of it.
We reimagined the room as a sculptural dry bar, mid-century modern in spirit and furniture-grade in execution. Custom walnut cabinetry runs wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling, fronted by a curved reeded façade that gives the space movement and softness. A full-height Dekton backsplash and countertop anchor the design in a single, monolithic gesture, while sconces and pendants layer in the kind of light a good evening calls for. Integrated appliances and hidden storage keep the room quiet and uncluttered, so the architecture can speak. What had been the most overlooked space in the house is now the one the clients (and their very good dog) gravitate to first.
Shop the look from this dry bar transformation, designed in a Mid-Century Modern style. From the warm walnut tones to the layered lighting, reeded detailing, and curated finishes, we’ve linked the pieces that bring this sculptural, statement-making space to life, all available on our LTK page.
