The clients came to us with a guest bathroom that had good bones and a confused sense of purpose. Sitting right off the wife’s new home office, the room needed to do double duty, welcoming overnight visitors while also serving as a quiet extension of her workday. On paper, the double vanity looked like a perk. In practice, the second sink was eating up counter space no one needed, storage was thin, the finishes were tired, and poor ventilation had already left its mark on the ceiling. Generous square footage, working against itself.

We simplified the room to make it work harder. Pulling the second sink gave the vanity room to breathe and finally offered the counter space guests and the homeowner actually use day to day. The shower gained an oversized niche, ventilation and lighting were rebuilt from the ground up, and the palette was reimagined in a warm transitional spirit, sun-washed neutrals, soft whites, and layered natural texture grounded by brass accents and a marble-look counter. What had been an inefficient pass-through is now a serene, timeless retreat, calm enough to end the workday in, welcoming enough to hand over to a weekend guest.
