The Stillwater Project
This kitchen remodel was designed to transform a dark, closed-in layout into a bright and highly functional space for everyday living and entertaining. The original kitchen felt heavy and restrictive, with dark cabinetry, brown flooring, and an island that disrupted flow and limited movement. By rethinking the layout within the existing footprint, we were able to create a more open, welcoming environment that better supports how the homeowners use their space.
The island was reimagined as a larger, more purposeful centerpiece, now housing the sink, dishwasher, trash pullouts, beverage fridge, and tailored storage solutions. A soft palette of Sherwin-Williams Heron Plume cabinetry with Open Air accents, paired with Bianco Mist quartz and a subtle baby blue backsplash, brings lightness and warmth to the room. Upper cabinetry was extended to the ceiling to maximize storage and add verticality, while updated flooring provides a seamless transition for poolside living. The result is a kitchen that feels airy, organized, and thoughtfully designed for connection.
